During and After Lip Reduction surgery at Midas Touch is a simple procedure performed under local anesthesia in our clinic. It takes about 1-2 hours to complete. A small section of tissue is removed from the inside of the lip and then closed with sutures.
Be prepared that your lips will appear too large for a few weeks after the procedure until all swelling has dissipated. Downtime is minimal. Most of our patients take a few days off before going back to their daily lives. You will need to eat a soft diet for 2-3 days and use ice on your lips for the first 24-48 hours to help reduce swelling.
