Is your face looking drawn and tired? Has it lost its fullness? You're not alone. As we age our face loses volume. When this happens frown lines appear and your cheeks have a sunken appearance. This can make you look and feel older than you are.
Lipofilling for the face is the answer. This is an innovative new fat-transfer method that enhances and fills in facial frown lines and hollow cheeks.
Lipofilling is much less expensive than traditional fillers and can last years longer. It provides the volume you need to regain your youthful appearance
We take fat from your own body and use it to fill wrinkles and correct the hollowness. Because we use your body's own fat it is 100% biocompatible, so adverse reactions are eliminated. Filling needed areas in your face using your own fat can also help to combat aging.
WHAT TO EXPECT
You will be given local anesthesia before the procedure. Your surgeon will make one or more small incisions in the area where the fat will be harvested. This is usually on your abdomen, hips or inner thighs. The fat is suctioned out with a specially designed tube connected to a vacuum pump. We spin the fat in a centrifuge, purify it and draw it up into several small syringes.
Your Midas Touch physician will make one or more small punctures through the skin in the area to be filled. The fat is then injected precisely in very small amounts in dozens of thin columns under the skin. This ensures optimal results.
Your doctor will use about 25% more fat because 1/4 of the transplanted fat cells will not grow. This way you will have enough fat to fill the gaps in your face. The results are immediate and you will be so pleased when you see the hollowness and frown lines disappear.
Your face will be swollen and somewhat bruised in the area that was treated. You can apply cold compresses and an ice pack to help relieve the swelling. This will gradually disappear after a few days.
The final results of your lipofilling will be revealed in three months. We can repeat the treatment if more filling is needed. Â Your transplanted fat cells will act just like all the other fat cells in your body. They will grow in volume if you gain weight and shrink if you lose it again.
